Ordinance 2026-08 – Tourist Development Tax Increase

The Hardee County Board of County Commissioners will vote on Ordinance 2026-08 which will impose a 1% increase of the tourist development tax on accommodations utilized by tourist, for six months or less, within incorporated and unincorporated areas of Hardee County.  Approval of the Ordinance will allow the proposed increase to appear on the November 2026 ballot for voter approval.  To read the Ordinance and Business Impact Estimate, click here.
