Mission Statement

The department delivers procurement services to Hardee County government agencies by obtaining goods and services that meet required performance and delivery standards at the best overall value, in compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and procedures.

Services include the issuance of purchase orders, Requests for Proposals, Invitations to Bid, and contract administration. The department also oversees the Purchase Card program and manages the stockroom, maintaining an inventory of essential repair items and operating supplies.

Work is performed under the Director of General Services.

Hardee Surplus

Hardee County’s Auctions will be administered by GovDeals, an online auction service specializing in surplus government property liquidation.
