Park Rules
To make your visit more enjoyable, please review the following Park guidelines. Pioneer Park is owned and administered by the County Government. Therefore, all camping units must have a current tag that is readily accessible to management.
Campsites Rules:
No alcoholic beverages are permitted on park premises.
1. Camp in designated sites only.
2.Campsites are not a residence.
3.No mail or packages will be accepted for campers.
4.One camping unit & two vehicles per campsite. Camping unit and/or RV must be kept clean and in a good state of repair, which includes:
5.Clean; free of dirt, mold, and mildew.
6.Tarps will only be allowed for 14 days during construction/repair.
7. All campers/RVs entering Pioneer Park must be in good condition. All body work must be clean and in good repair. The camper/RV must be free from damage, rust, mold, and dirt.
8.All awnings and equipment must be well-maintained without any visible damage.
9.No ropes or wires shall be attached to trees or buildings.
10.The doormat shall be no larger than 3’ x4’.
11.All trash must be placed in garbage cans or dumpsters provided.
12.The dump station is located at the west end of the park. ($5.00 fee for non-campers).
13.No water is allowed to be dumped on the ground.
14.(washing of vehicles, trailers, or motor homes is prohibited)
15. No boards, pallets, blocks, or other such items on the grass.
16. All items outside of the site will be arranged in a neat and orderly fashion.
17.Campfires are allowed, but please be careful.
18.Campsites must be left clean & neat upon departure.
19.Restrooms with showers are available to registered campers. Showers are available to non-campers for a $5.00 fee per shower to be paid at the Park Office.
20.Children are always the responsibility of the parent/guardian.
21.Pets (two per campsite) are welcome but must be on a leash (not to exceed ten feet), and the owner is responsible for cleaning up all pet waste at the campsite and throughout the park. Pets are not permitted in any of the buildings or near the Wildlife Refuge area. Pet disturbance will not be tolerated at any time. Do not leave your pets unattended.
22. No swimming in any waters of the park.
23.Fishing is allowed from the banks of Pioneer Lake, Rock Lake, & Peace River. Boats are allowed on the Peace River only. The boat ramp is available.
24.Quiet time in the park is between 10:00 pm until 8:00 am. Please be respectful of other campers.
25.Park management reserves the right to ask any camper to vacate the park premises at any time, for any reason, including but not limited to violations of park rules, disruptive behavior, safety concerns, or any actions that may negatively impact the experience or well-being of other guests.
