Mission Statement

Purchasing provides procurement services to Hardee County government agencies, securing goods and services that meet performance and delivery requirements at the most cost effective price, while adhering to appropriate laws, regulations and procedures.

Purchasing is a service department, providing procurement services to Hardee County through issuance of purchase orders, Requests for Proposals, Invitations to Bid and contract administration. Purchasing also administers the Purchase Card program and maintains the stockroom, keeping essential repair items and operating supplies on inventory.

Work is performed under the Director of General Services.

 


Hardee Surplus

Hardee County’s Auctions will be administered by GovDeals, an online auction service specializing in surplus government property liquidation.
